After having any cancer surgery you may have built up mental and emotional barriers thinking that you cannot take part in exercise. Being active can have positive benefits for your physical, psychological and social well being.

These swimming sessions are for anyone who has had cancer surgery, with qualified female leisure staff running the session. It is hoped that this will increase women’s self-confidence with all aspects of their swimming experience from the changing room to the pool.
